Due to the current Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation the Volvo Club of Victoria Inc will not hold any meetings or activities until further notice. This includes the 1st April Night Meeting and the 8th April Coffee and Chat Morning.
The planned August 2020 club trip to Mount Gambier is also cancelled.
The Club will continue to produce the Rolling Magazine.
Please watch the club website or the club Facebook Group page (www.facebook.com/groups/123379635771849) for future updates
These are unknown times and most of you would not have experienced anything like this before. The guidance we get from the Government will dictate when we can start running events again.
We wish to keep all our members as safe as they are in their Volvos.
Please stay safe and look after your families.
Let us get through this.
Volvo Club of Victoria
Welcome to the website of the Volvo Club of Victoria. The Volvo Club is a place where Volvo enthusiasts can meet and mingle with like-minded people. We enjoy talking about Volvo, helping out members with problems, enjoying events together and driving or showing our cars.
Once a member (join here: Membership Applications) , you have access to a wealth of information, help and even discounts on products and/or services. You’ll receive our bi-monthly magazine, ROLLING AUSTRALIA, and have a say in what you want with the club. More importantly, you get to enjoy your car with people of a similar ilk.
We are always welcoming new members and you should feel free to come along to any of our meetings or events and see if you’d like to join.
The Club meets at 8:00 PM every first Wednesday of the month at Shannons HQ, 40 Corporate Drive, Heatherton, 3202. We often have a guest speaker, and light refreshments; party pies & sausage rolls; tea and coffee are served at the end of the meeting. $2 gold coin donation please for all attendees.
We try to arrange a monthly Club Run where a member offers to plan a drive, and sometimes activity, around Victoria. these are popular events which can take you to Daylesford, Arthurs Seat or along the Great Ocean Road.
We also oraganise and join larger events with other clubs, such as the European Classic Showcase which serves as our annual Show ‘n’ Shine and allows us a look at other European classics! There are also events to Phillip Island and the occasional motorsport event.
If you’re interested in joining please download and complete the application form from here, we look forward to greeting you into the club.
