About the Volvo Club

Welcome to the website of the Volvo Club of Victoria.  The Volvo Club is a place where Volvo enthusiasts can meet and mingle with like-minded people.  We enjoy talking about Volvo, helping out members with problems, enjoying events together and driving or showing our cars.

Once a member (join here: Membership Applications) , you have access to a wealth of information, help and even discounts on products and/or services.  You’ll receive our bi-monthly magazine, ROLLING AUSTRALIA, and have a say in what you want with the club.  More importantly, you get to enjoy your car with people of a similar ilk.

We are always welcoming new members and you should feel free to come along to any of our meetings or events and see if you’d like to join.

Night Meetings – Currently suspended

NOTE: The monthly night meetings are currently suspended until further notice due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.  Watch the website for updates and as soon as we can start the meetings again we will.

The Club meets at 8:00 PM every first Wednesday of the month at Shannons HQ, 40 Corporate Drive, Heatherton, 3202.  We often have a guest speaker, and light refreshments; party pies & sausage rolls; tea and coffee are served at the end of the meeting. $2 gold coin donation please for all attendees.

Events

For the foreseeable future Club events will be planned and managed consistent with the Club’s Covid-Safe Guideline which has been published in the Rolling edition #255.  You can view and download the Guideline here.  Club members are encouraged to be aware of the provisions of the Guideline and keep informed of prevailing Victorian government restrictions that could impact upon their attendance at Club events.  Some planned events may, at short notice, have to be cancelled or have attendance capped consistent with venue/location requirements and government requirements and health advice at the time.  Please regularly check the Club’s website for latest event updates.

We often arrange a Club Run/Drive Day where a member (or members) plans a drive, and sometimes activity around Victoria.  These are popular events which can take you to Daylesford, Arthur’s Seat or along the Great Ocean Road.

We also organise and join larger events with other clubs, such as the British & European Classic Showcase (which is cancelled for 2021) which serves as our annual Show ‘n’ Shine and allows us a look at other classics! There are also events to Phillip Island and the occasional motorsport event.
